About the Artist

Creative Journey
Jose Angel Castro is a Garifuna interdisciplinary artist, educator, and facilitator based in Miami. With experience spanning entrepreneurship, visual art, dance, photography, theater, and teaching, he brings a broad, creative approach to both education and media.
He is the founder of AngelVision Media LLC, where he coordinates, plans, and creates photography, video, and AI media for luxury clientele and produces his podcast “In Pursuit of Signal” — a deep dive into the social impacts of technology on our everyday lives.
Artist Statement
My work is a direct reflection of my non-linear nature. Whether exploring the depths of my inner world through abstract movement painting or creating a body of work based on my love of mangoes, I have dedicated my life to creativity and its expression. I use whatever materials make sense to me to make paintings, photographs, sculptures, installations or whatever strikes me.
